  • Rebecca Rogers

She then completed her DVM degree in 2000 from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one year internship at the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine. After finishing her education, Dr. Rogers and her husband moved to Redmond and she has been at the VCA Redmond Animal Hospital ever since. She and her husband live in the country outside of Redmond with their daughter, standard poodle and cat.

  • Chelsea Hightower (Newby)

    DVM

Dr. Chelsea Hightower grew up in the wonderful town of Bend, Oregon. She studied biology and Latin American studies at Colorado College and then got her veterinary medicine degree from Colorado State University. After graduation in 2005, Dr. Hightower did a one year internship at the VCA Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle and then joined the VCA Redmond Animal Hospital. She adores working with dogs and cats, but also loves working with the occasional hamster, rat or rabbit. In her time off she enjoys running, skiing, camping and whitewater rafting. Dr. Hightower's pets include a handsome mutt named Smiley, a rabbit named Mr. Tweekers, and a box turtle named Shelly.

  • Melissa Worland

    DVM

Dr. Melissa Worland grew up in Rockford, IL about 60 miles west of Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rockford College. From there she attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1997. After working in a small animal practice near Chicago for several years, she moved to the pacific northwest and joined the VCA Redmond Animal Hospital team in 2003. Dr. Worlands personal interests include skiing, hiking, bicycling and scrapbooking. She shares her home with her husband, daugther and furry kids, Murphy and Nigel.

  • Stephanie Stoegbauer

    DVM

Dr. Stephanie Stoegbauer joined VCA Redmond in January of 2010. She has been an emergency and critical care veterinarian at one of our sister hospitals in Issaquah since 2007. She brings a strong soft tissue surgical background to the hospital. Abdominal surgery including foreign body removal, intestinal resection and anastamosis, and spleen removal are her favorite surgeries but won't turn down a "good" laceration or mass removal. Dr. Stoegbauer moved to day practice because she missed seeing healthy happy puppies and kittens, and wanted to be involved in the long term management of her patients. She wants to work hard to develop quality client relationships and promote preventative care for all life stages. She saw several cases seen in the emergency room which could have been prevented with routine examinations and bloodwork. Her goal is to help pets live a long, comfortable life. Dentistry and internal medicine are her two favorite ways to increase a pet's quality of life. She also promotes pet insurance to provide the best possible care for each patient as veterinary medicine advances. Dr. Stoegbauer graduated with honors from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and Virginia Tech in 2003. Dr. Stoegbauer grew up in the suburbs of Washington D.C, and moved to the Seattle in 2007 to be with her newlywed husband, Toby. At home, she has two "children" Daisy, the ex-racing Greyhound and "Frank the Tank", a Great Dane puppy. Dr. Stoegbauer loves the outdoor sports available in Seattle including snowboarding, hiking and she completed her first triathalon in 2009. She also loves cooking, home remodel/decorating, and reading.

  • Melissa Moskowitz

    DVM

Dr. Melissa Moskowitz was born and raised in a small town in rural Connecticut. After taking animal science classes through the agricultural program at her high school, Melissa decided to pursue her interest in veterinary medicine. She completed her B.S. degree in animal science at the University of Connecticut in 2005. After spending a year in Massachusetts working at an animal shelter, Melissa traveled to Colorado for veterinary school. In May 2010, she received her D.V.M. degree from Colorado State University. She stayed in Colorado an additional year to complete a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver. Now, Melissa is excited to be joining the team at VCA Redmond Animal Hospital. Professionally, Melissa has broad interests in internal medicine, dentistry and preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys being active outdoors, including running, biking and hiking, and is looking forward to seeing all that the pacific northwest has to offer. She also enjoys watching movies, reading and spending time with her Labrador retriever mix, Max.
